This page is for a head of department, librarian, or coordinator who has been asked to “do AI” this term. It is not a procurement list. It is a design filter. If the plan cannot survive a week with the same devices the school already owns, it is gadget theater.
A module that can sit beside an existing course
Pick one concept the course already teaches. Write one explanation target a student can speak. Write one artifact a colleague can mark. Write one responsible-use rule that will actually be tested (for example: no classmate drafts in a prompt). That is a module. HNK’s six tracks are six ways to check a sentence, not six products to install.
Partnership conversations can be about that module. They cannot be about a memorandum this site does not have. Write info@hnk.org with the course name, the concept, and who will mark. English is welcome.
What to refuse in a vendor meeting
A dashboard that never shows a student sentence. A certificate with no folder. A claim that teachers need not look at work because the model will. A request for student data “to personalize” without a named retention limit. HNK’s own pages are bound by the same refusals. We will not list schools as partners to win the meeting.
Staff load
Marking four explanation cards per student per term is a finite load. Running an open-ended “AI club” with no artifact is an infinite load. Choose the finite one. Train staff on the four fields and the closed-lid teach-back. Do not train them on a prompt library that will be obsolete before the next timetable.
Evidence the school can show a parent
A folder. A marker. A date. A limitation note. That is the public story. It is smaller than a launch assembly and stronger.
